We are a family run farm situated at the base of the Strzelecki ranges in West Gippsland about 90 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD and just 10 minutes from our nearest town of Warragul. The Wallace family commenced farming on Elderslie in 1886 as a dairy farm. The farm is still predominantly run as a dairy farm but has also diversified by producing eggs and garlic as well. Elderslie and its sister farm ‘Glendearg ‘( a farm also owned by Peters maternal family since about 1922 ) which is about 4kms away were both certified organic in 2005. Peter, myself (Wendy) and our two sons Toby and Ashley work full time on the farm , while Chloe our daughter works part time helping to take care of the daily running of the farms.
